This is a similar style that I wore for my convalidation ceremony. I did a twist and curl and re-curled the flatter pieces with a tight curling wand! My favorite way to style a high bun is with curly waterfall bangs. There is something very romantic about it.

I love stretched styles. I have many videos up on my channel of sharing the benefits of stretched natural hair. This is a wonderful way to keep texture in your style while not sacrificing length, because as we know, majority of women with type 4 hair have shrinkage (which indicates healthy hair).

Half Up Half Down

I am not sure if this is considered a true half up half down, as there is no ponytail, but this is extremely flattering for most face shapes and body types. This style is very versatile as well. If you want more volume, you can add clip ins or extensions. If you’d like to wear your stretched, you can also try that.
